ABOUT

A place to learn the value of giving.

Independent editorial care, fiscal sponsorship, and a sister project for participation.

Illustrative concept photograph of an elder and a child with vegetables. Not a documented event or named people.

GiftingEconomy.org explains gift economies, compares models, and points to real organizations using their own official sites. It is not a checkout, not a certification bureau, and not a social network.

Fiscal sponsorship

GiftingEconomy.org is fiscally sponsored by Yoga.org. iGift.com is also a project fiscally sponsored by Yoga.org. The two properties remain distinct. This page does not claim tax deductibility, earmarking, ownership, or operating control.

Sister project

iGift is where people can tap in to give and ask. Its public homepage says: “Your presence is the gift.” Sharing what you can give and asking for what would help is participation, not a financial donation to this learning site.

Donations

Every financial donation link on GiftingEconomy.org goes directly to https://donate.yoga.org/. Donations go to Yoga.org through its own donation process and are not earmarked for this project.
