One improvement: Name one example gift and one example need in ordinary words.

Money-only language can shut out people who have other useful gifts.

One improvement: List non-money gifts you can actually receive.

Karma points and public shame are not a gift.

One improvement: Offer help freely. You decide whether to share a story of the gift.

Hidden gates waste people’s dignity and time.

One improvement: Put limits and fees next to the ask, in the same view.

A gift without a no is pressure.

One improvement: Show how to decline, leave, and report harm.

Need is not a marketing list.

One improvement: Collect only what the task requires. Say so on the form.

A story is not yours to spend.

One improvement: Add a clear publishing-permission step, and a way to withdraw it.

Mixing labels confuses people who cannot repay.

One improvement: Name the model in the same words this directory uses.

Sponsorship is not ownership, and a donate button is not earmarking.

One improvement: State who operates the project and where money actually goes.
