How Buy Nothing Project puts giving into motion.

What it is

A neighborhood network for giving, asking, and gratitude around goods people no longer need.

Model

Unconditional gift

Listing does not imply endorsement or partnership.

How it works

Buy Nothing Project’s public site describes local groups where people give items, request items, and share gratitude. Membership and group rules belong to that project.

What differs

This is a local gift-and-ask model among neighbors. It is not a time-credit ledger and not a Yoga.org or iGift program.
