How Freedge puts giving into motion.

What it is

Guidance and a directory for community fridges that share food locally.

Model

Unconditional gift

Listing does not imply endorsement or partnership.

How it works

Freedge’s public site offers information for people who host or use community fridges. Food handling, hours, and safety rules belong to each local operator.

What differs

Shared food in a fridge is a gift of surplus, not a tracked hour of labor and not an implied partnership with this site.
